Biofarma, founded in 1945, is one of the oldest pharmaceutical companies in Turkey. Taken under the leadership of Mustafa Oncel in 1973 whom which led Biofarma to become a successful limited company, has always strived to improve its services and facilities to accommodate its wide portfolio of human drugs.In 1990, Biofarma was relocated from Mercan-Istanbul to Sancaktepe-Istanbul where it opened the doors to its new state-of-the-art 15.000 m² facilities. Later in 1998, Biofarma became a joint-stock company and it's now currently owned by SBK Holding.
