IEIS, in cooperation with Turkish Medicine and Medical Device Agency and The Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, organised a workshop titled “Turkey – The Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices” in Istanbul Sheraton Maslak Hotel on 1-2 April 2013. More than 20 participants from the GCC public authorities attended the workshop.

In the workshop where Mr. Saim Kerman (President of the Turkish Drug Agency) and Mr. Abdullah A. Al Hashem (Deputy Secretary General of the GCC) made the opening speeches, the regulations related to pharmaceuticals and medical devices as well as market structures were discussed.
